Hi loves ♥ I am so excited to bring you this review on Urban Decay’s new eyeshadow palette inspired by the new Alice in Wonderland movie, Through the Looking Glass. I have always been a huge fan of Alice in Wonderland so I definitely needed this palette to add to my collection. Urban Decay does not disappoint in packaging with this one. It’s absolutely stunning. Review and swatches will follow.
This palette is gorgeous! I know some people were disappointed because they expected the eyeshadow shades to be more vibrant and funky but instead there are a lot of wearable neutrals in this palette. That’s what I like about the palette, it’s not just going to sit in my makeup drawer because it has too many bright colors I can’t wear. It’s a very diverse and wearable palette in my opinion. I guess it’s personal preference. I really enjoy the shades with a duo chrome shift (Lily,Duchess,Mirror) it gives this palette something extra that I feel other UD palettes were lacking. I would say eyeshadow primer definitely makes these shades pop! My favorite colors in the palette are Paradox, Duchess, Cake, Heads Will Roll and Salazen Grum.
Each row downward coordinates with a character in the movie. They are arranged so you can apply the eyeshadow that way to create a look that’s effortless.
This palette retails for $60.00 and includes 20 brand new shades with a double ended brush. I purchased my palette at Ulta.
I hope you enjoyed this post. Don’t forget to follow to see more beauty posts ♥
Stay tuned I will be creating an eye look using this palette soon 🙂
