Hey lovelees♥ I am back with a review on Colourpop Pressed Eyeshadows. I placed a huge online order last week because I heard so many great things about the single eyeshadows. I am going away soon so I wanted some new eyeshadows to bring along with me instead of packing more than one palette. To see swatches and my thoughts on the new pressed eyeshadows then keep reading. Swatches will follow.
First, let’s talk about packaging, I usually don’t expect much from Colourpop packaging, but the packaging for the new eyeshadow palettes was actually nice. It’s a sturdy cardboard with a magnetic top and comes in a sleeve. For the price, I think the packaging is quite nice. I purchased three of their palettes and three single shades that were speaking to my soul. All shades in the palette can easily be removed and put into a magnetic palette.
Heavy Hitter: A very neutral palette, perfect for anyone who loves nudes
Blow Me Away– A peach inspired palette with warm tones
High Maintenance– A berry warm toned palette (similar to ABH Modern Renaissance)
Single shades– A variety of different shades and finishes, same shades in the palette can come in singles to purchase
I am in love! For the price of just $4.99 per each eyeshadow or $18 for a palette is a great deal for the quality and pigmentation of these shadows. The formula is very buttery for both the shimmer and matte shades, they also blend very nicely. There are so many shades to choose from and you can get some really unique shades. My favorite shades I bought are Come and Get It (pink with a gold shift) Labyrinth(warm rose shade) High Strung (dusty rose gold) and Slim Fit (bright neon coral) I highly recommend you give these a try! I already placed my second order for more! I purchased the palettes because you get 4 shades for $18.00 which saves you $2.00. All swatches are shown without primer.
