Hi loves ♥  life is always throwing us obstacles and we can either fall and break apart or learn how to manage and move on. I prefer to move on but there are times when I do hit my breaking point. Stress is something we can’t avoid, life has constant struggles. The only thing we can do is learn how to manage our stress and hope for better days.

My career has always been stressful but I feel like its becoming unbearable. I dread going into work and I can’t wait for the weekend. It shouldn’t have to be like that. I wanted to find other ways to deal with this instead of just shutting down. I have come up with some ways to manage to my stress and I wanted to share them with you.

Adult coloring, (you wonder why kids love it). You are able to let your mind free when your able to focus on something else. I really enjoy the adult coloring books because when your finished you have your own piece of art. This is an activity that’s creative and good for your mental well being. I bought mine at Marshalls for $5.99 but places like Five Below sell them also.

Writing in a journal, helps you release your thoughts from your mind on to paper where you can clearly see them. This can help resolve a problem since your able to see it in a different light. This journal was given to me by my aunt and I love the quote on the front.

Look for inspiration, I love looking for inspirational quotes to help get through the day or even the week. If I keep that quote in my mind, it reinforces me to forget about the problem and move on. Pinterest is a great app to find quotes since you can save your favorite quotes and share them.

Cuddle with your pets, Its proven that pet therapy really helps people. I know when I come home from work and my dog is waiting for me that I instantly feel in a better mood.

Vent! Find that person you can vent too and be yourself around. We all need support, and for me that person is my husband. He always there for me through thick and thin and my biggest supporter.

Becoming a blogging gal 🙂 Blogging has really helped me with my stress and I am so thankful I found something I truly enjoy and love. When you have a passion for something, everything else seems to find its place.

I love adult coloring! My parents got me a book this past Christmas, and I find it very therapeutic at times. I also enjoy adding other elements to the designs besides color pencils- like glitter! It really brings out my creativity 🙂

These are great ideas. I found there’s even a phone app for coloring (be careful, it’s free but you have to pay for certain things once you download). It’s very relaxing when you are onthe subway or waiting in long lines.
