Hey lovelees♥ I will be sharing with you today my Top Drugstore Highlighters! Highlighters are one of my favorite products of all time. They brighten up the mood and make you feel like a glowing goddess. What’s not to love? I tend to go for a champagne or gold highlight, I feel like those work best with my skin tone. Some of these highlights may seem very similar but they are still my top choices in the drugstore. Swatches will follow.
Makeup Revolution Triple Baked Highlighters, Goddess of Faith, Love & Golden Goddess ($7.99)
I discovered the triple baked formula highlighters by Makeup Revolution a couple of months ago and I am so glad I did. These highlighters are so buttery soft and blend like a dream. The pigment is intense and very reflective. For the price I highly recommend them!
J.Cat Beauty You Glow Girl Baked Highlighter, Twilight ($9.00)
This is also a recent favorite highlighter. J.Cat Beauty has some of the most gorgeous drugstore highlights. The formula is baked so it’s very creamy and buttery. The swatch below is shown with one swipe only. I thought this shade was going to be too dark for me but it’s a beautiful champagne shade. This has quickly become one of my favorites!
Wet n Wild, Precious Petals ($4.99)
This highlight is so gorgeous! I went on a scavenger hunt at different drugstores looking for this. It was definitely worth it. This is another smooth formula, the powder is finely milled giving you this beautiful glow. The shade is a peachy champagne, gorgeous for Spring and Summer.
Wet n Wild, Boozy Brunch ($5.99)
I love Wet n Wild highlighters, I discovered this highlight through Youtuber Casey Holmes. The formula is very soft and finely milled to give you a gorgeous finish. The shade is more on the gold side but also has a taupe to it making it very wearable. It’s different than anything I have. It looks gorgeous applied wet too. I highly recommend you pick this up.
Colourpop Supershock Highlighters, Smokin’ Whistles & Wisp ($8.00)
I love Colourpop highlighters, the formula is so creamy but applies like a powder. These look gorgeous alone or as a base for other highlighters. If you haven’t tried Colourpop highlighters you must! They are stunning, especially the shade Wisp.
Milani StrobeLight Powder, Dayglow ($8.99)
Milani wins on packaging and formula, for a drugstore this highlight exceeded my expectations, it performs like a high-end product and looks the part. The formula is soft and it’s very pigmented. I picked this up a couple of days ago and I can’t stop wearing it.
Kiko Water Shadow, #208 ($14.00)
I love the brand Kiko Cosmetics, they are an Italian brand and sell quality products that are affordable. Even though this is a shadow it’s even better as a highlight. The price is steeper than the other ones but this is an exact dupe for Laura Geller’s famous Gilded Honey highlighter. This comes off looking wet on the skin and gives a true golden glow.
Flower Beauty Shimmer & Strobe Palette ($12.99)
This exceeded my expectations for the price. It comes with three gorgeous highlighting shades that can be customized to create your perfect glow. The formula is like nothing I’ve ever tried, it’s creamy and buttery but applies like a powder. The pigment is amazing and they are gorgeous alone or can make a huge impact layered under another highlight. I picked mine up at Walmart and highly recommend you do too!
We have finally made it to the end! The drugstore has really been stepping up their makeup game especially in the highlighting department. This shows you, it doesn’t have to cost much to get a gorgeous, long-lasting glow.
