Hey lovelees❤️ I have a review for you on Maybelline’s new Total Temptation Collection which consists of an eyeshadow palette, mascara, and eyebrow pencil. This collection was sent to me and I was very surprised and grateful! All thoughts and opinions are my own, to see my thoughts on this palette then keep reading. The overall review of this collection will be at the end of the blog post.
Let’s begin with what everyone is most excited about, the eyeshadow palette!
Total Temptation Eye & Cheek Palette
The palette contains 8 eyeshadows and 2 highlighters, both sides are able to create a complete look. One side is more of mauve shades and the other side of the palette is more neutral browns. The highlight shades coordinate with the eyeshadows. The first highlight is a gold-tone and the second highlight has a pink/violet undertone.
Total Temptation Mascara
Total Temptation Brow Definer
My favorite items in this collection are the Total Temptation Mascara and Brow Definer. The eyeshadow palette is nice but there some misses in it for me. I love the coconut formula that’s in the mascara, I can keep applying coats without my eyelashes clumping or looking dry. I also love the length this mascara gives my eyelashes. The brow definer is the perfect shade for my eyebrows and I love the angled shape because it makes drawing in my eyebrows so easy, it also lasts all day! Lastly, the eyeshadow palette is blendable and the mattes are really nice but I feel the shimmer shades fall short unless you wet them first. The highlighters can be built up, I prefer to mix both shades and then wet my highlighting brush before applying. The highlights in this palette are pretty but they are not like Maybelline’s Master Chrome Highlighters. Overall I would say this collection is worth trying out and the drugstore really stepped up their game with this collection!
